Led by its parent company, Shenzhen IFW Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and with Yunnan IFW Technology Co., Ltd. serving as the R&D center, IFW Technology leverages the resource advantages of “Yunnan's Plant Kingdom, Spice Kingdom, and Tobacco Kingdom” to drive industrial upgrading through technological innovation. It empowers the flavors, fragrances, and materials sectors, building a R&D and production base for flavors and fragrances and a main entity for tobacco business, and constructing a complete product and technology system covering three major fields: flavors and fragrances, new tobacco materials, and new-type tobacco technology.

Team Introduction

The company boasts an experienced technical team with expertise spanning tobacco engineering, flavors and fragrances, biotechnology, specialty paper for tobacco use, and chemical pharmaceuticals. The team includes two senior engineers (at the rank of professor), an expert receiving a special government allowance from Yunnan Province (in the field of tobacco engineering), several high-level talents recognized by Yunnan Province, a "Yunling" industrial technology leader, and an academic and technical leader designated by Kunming Municipality. The team has participated in nearly 50 national, provincial, or ministerial-level projects, received over a dozen provincial and municipal-level science and technology progress awards and technical invention awards, filed more than 100 invention patents, and published over 90 academic papers.

IFW Technology possesses mature capabilities for technology development and finished product production of tobacco flavors and fragrances, new tobacco materials, and new-type tobacco.Currently, its commissioned modern factories cover more than 5,000 square meters.
